Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Accounting Manager to oversee the company’s accounting operations, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and efficiency in financial reporting. This role will be responsible for managing the monthly close process, financial statement preparation, internal controls, and team leadership. The Accounting Manager will collaborate with cross-functional teams, working closely with corporate finance, auditors, and operational leaders to drive financial integrity and process improvements.
Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee the monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close processes, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
  • Prepare and review financial statements in compliance with GAAP and SEC reporting requirements.
  • Maintain and enhance internal controls to ensure compliance with corporate policies and regulatory standards.
  • Collaborate with manufacturing operations to analyze financial performance, cost drivers, and process efficiencies.
  • Manage and develop accounting staff, providing mentorship and professional growth opportunities.
  • Support external and internal audits by preparing necessary documentation and responding to inquiries.
  • Implement process improvements and automation initiatives to enhance financial reporting and efficiency.
  • Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis to support business decision-making.
  • Ensure proper accounting treatment for inventory, cost accounting, and fixed assets in a manufacturing environment.
Qualifications & Skills
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (CPA preferred).
  • years of accounting experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
  • Strong knowledge of GAAP, internal controls, and financial reporting.
  • Experience with ERP systems and financial software (SAP or similar preferred).
  • Proven ability to manage and develop a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
